Demolition of the Walk Around the World Bricks Begins at the Transportation and Ticket Center

If you had a brick at the Transportation and Ticket Center as part of the Walk Around the World program, it could now be demolished. Work is now underway on demolishing the bricks to make way for a refreshed arrival experience to Magic Kingdom.

First, a look back at what the area use to look like.

Here’s a look at the area from this afternoon. As you can see, most of the bricks appear to be in decent enough condition. That said, there are no plans to return the bricks to the guests who originally purchased them.

Disney will also be making changes to the main entrance arrival experience at Magic Kingdom in the coming months.
