Space 220 Restaurant Opening Pushed Back to February 2020 at Epcot

According to multiple job postings on the Delaware North website (parent company of Patina Restaurant Group), the Space 220 restaurant is set to blast off in February 2020, missing the late-2019 or winter 2019 dates that have been announced.

According to multiple statements by Disney, the restaurant has always been scheduled to open in late 2019, but if the recent job postings from the company operating the location are to be believed, that opening date has been missed and the restaurant will open in February 2020. Here are a few of the job postings that mention the Februrary 2020 timeframe.

Unfortunately, if this pans out, this is just the latest in a recent trend of missed opening dates including Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland.

Disney has yet to make an announcement of the new timeframe, but we hope they do soon as we know there is a lot of interest surrounding this new restaurant. We will provide an update to this story if Disney comments.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest on the Space 220 restaurant and much more from around the Disney Parks.
