A somewhat quiet project has been taking place in a first-floor corner of The NBA Experience structure at Disney Springs. The oft-delayed City Works Eatery & Pour house promises to give a shot of life into the West Side of Disney Springs when it opens. All the way back in October 2018, Bottleneck Management announced the City Works project with a Summer 2019 completion date. Well, here we are just days away from 2020 and we finally have an opening month for the new build. According to City Works, they will be opening their Disney Springs location in January 2020, but a more exact date hasn’t been announced…yet.

City Works is an ‘eatery and pour house’ style restaurant, with a focus on classic American food with brilliant twists, an impressive selection of drinks, and an upbeat, energetic atmosphere. THe ‘pour house’ will offer 100 draft handles, as well as 8 wines on draft, which offer the benefits of freshness, consistency, and zero waste. The location plans to feature rare and special beer tappings from breweries around the world.

The original announcement included a “retail space”, but that has apparently been cut from the most recent announcement. The 8,632 square foot restaurant at Disney Springs will offer expansive seating, plenty of high-definition TVs – including a 165-inch screen – and a 1,767 square foot patio. The space will also exhibit three full-service bars, two of which allow for covered, open air dining along the patio.
