New Construction Walls Installed in Future World for Ongoing Epcot Overhaul Project

A new section of construction walls has been installed in Future World West as Disney looks to demolish another building for the Epcot Overhaul Project.

The walls, which appeared overnight, block off an entrance to the northwest section of Innoventions West. This building is part of a “phase two” demolition, with phase one of the demolition having just been completed recently.

We’ll start with a wide view, which shows the walkway towards The Seas (and the newly opened bypass) and the walkway towards Future World West still open.

A closer look shows that this use to be the temporary Character Spot location until Mickey and pals recently moved out.

Here’s a look back at the last tenants to take up this space.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to cover the Epcot Overhaul Project.
