Mobile Check-In Replaces Traditional Check-In Podiums When Disney World Restaurants Reopen

According to an update to the Disney World website, Disney will be implementing a Mobile Check-In process for dining reservations via the My Disney Experience app.

Guests will bypass a traditional podium for checking in. Instead, they will pull out their phone and check-in virtually. When your dining time arrives, you’ll receive a push notification asking you to begin the check-in process. Some restaurants will also have a QR code to begin the process when you arrive. Once guests confirm their reservation, you will receive another notification when your table is ready and you will proceed to a specified location.

Disney has also just announced that Walt Disney World Resort guests will have exclusive access to make dining reservations beginning June 18th.
