Same-Day Tickets Sold at Walt Disney World Ticket Windows Pending Theme Park Availability

Today is the first day that the public is being let into Walt Disney World theme parks, and we’ve already seen some operations that we’d like to note.

As we’ve documented, there are three different buckets of theme park reservation allocation – Annual Passholders, Resort Guests, and Regular Ticket holders. We’ll talk about the regular ticket holders in this post.

While walking towards the monorail, we saw something that we didn’t think we’d see – the ticket booths are open! As you can see in the photo below, guests are lined up to purchase same-day tickets for the Magic Kingdom reopening. We spoke with a manager who confirmed to us that same-day tickets are being sold “as theme park reservation allows”. As a reminder, all guests must have a valid theme park ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks.

We do not recommend that you plan on buying a same-day ticket, but we are shocked to see that it is an option this morning.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest photos and news from around the Disney Parks.
