Disney World Releases More Cast Member Theme Park Availability Signaling Slow September After Labor Day

Disney World has just released a lot of Cast Member availability to visit the theme parks for the remainder of September, signaling anticipated lower crowds after Labor Day.

Indicated in yellow below is availability for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Hollywood Studios remains blocked out for Cast Members. As a reminder, this calendar shows which days a Cast Member could visit the theme park, but they still have to make Disney Park Pass reservations to visit.

We’re expecting to see a busy Labor Day here at Disney World as the top destination in the United States by hotel bookings. Disney Park Pass availability remains slim for this Labor Day weekend, but starts to show signs of lower crowd levels in the weekdays and weeks to follow. Disney also tipped their hand to lower crowd levels by cutting theme park hours beginning the day after Labor Day. Adding Cast Member availability falls lower on the priority scale than resort guests, regular ticketed guests, and Annual Passholders. It’s fair to say that if Disney is adding availability for Cast Members, they anticipate availability for the other ticket types on those dates.

Here at BlogMickey.com we’ll continue to keep an eye on Labor Day crowds, wait times, and more as we cover the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World theme parks.
