While the PLAY! Pavilion roof project may seem to be complete to the average guest walking by the construction site, we noticed that workers were still present and actively replacing roof tiles on a recent visit to EPCOT.
The vast majority of the roof project appears to be complete, but as you’ll see in the photos below, workers are still replacing some tiles on the north side of the structure. Here’s a look around.
Ready to play? A fun, new digital city is coming where you can play with all your Disney friends. The PLAY! Pavilion takes over the former Wonders of Life structure at EPCOT and will be part of the World Discovery section of the park when the reimagining is complete. The PLAY! Pavilion promises to be an interactive, digital city where guests can encounter some of their favorite Disney characters.
When stepping inside, guests will be met with a colorful city skyline and various interactive sections where they will enter a digital playground.
The PLAY! Pavilion is positioned to be a kid-friendly experience that is sandwiched between a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster and Mission: SPACE – both trending towards adult-style experiences. The PLAY! Pavilion will cater to guests of all ages and bring a more kid-focused experience to EPCOT.
