Orange County Department of Health official Dr. Raul Pino has said that businesses within the county no longer need to perform temperature checks.

According to a report from WFTV’s Lauren Seabrook, Pino said that temperature checks are not necessary, and that he is seeing too many places waste resources on something that makes no difference. Seabrook said that Florida Department of Health is not recommending temperature checks.

Temperature checks were one of the COVID-19 safety protocols that we said that we think would end sooner rather than later at Walt Disney World. As a matter of fact, we said that we think that temperature checks will be the first safety measure to disappear from Walt Disney World.
