Fully Vaccinated Guests Don’t Have to Wear a Mask at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando has announced that fully vaccinated guests do not have to wear a mask while at their theme parks – indoors or outdoors. In the update, Universal did ask that non-vaccinated guests wear a face covering while indoors, but they said they will not be checking vaccination status. Here’s the update:

Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Non-vaccinated guests are asked to wear face coverings at all indoor locations.

As of publish time, Walt Disney World has not announced any changes to their face covering policies. Masks are still required at indoor locations and on transportation at Walt Disney World. That said, Disney followed Universal Orlando’s lead two weeks ago when both parks decided to remove the requirement to wear face masks outdoors.
