Changes to Rider Switch/Child Swap Policy at Walt Disney World

Disney World has updated information on its website regarding the Rider Switch/Child Swap policy at its theme parks.

New wording on the Walt Disney World website effectively limits the amount of guests who would be able to experience the attraction after the switch has occurred.

First, here’s a look at the old version of the webpage as captured by BlogMickey.com:

Now, here’s a look at the new version of the webpage now live on the Walt Disney World website:

The fine print at the bottom is where the change comes into play. Previously, the adult waiting with the non-riding guest could bring “up to 2 other guests back to ride the attraction”.

Now, the wording says that “the number of guests who may join him or her and ride again is limited”. This is likely to prevent any gaming of the system. Previously, other guests would be able to ride a second time with the waiting adult, but it looks like Disney is trying to crack down on double-dipping.
