Disney has just released a behind-the-scenes look at the soundtrack for Harmonious, and how it will bring World Showcase Lagoon to life at EPCOT. Here’s the announcement from Zach Riddley, Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering:
“Harmonious,” the new nighttime spectacular debuting Oct. 1 as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” is one of the largest shows of its kind ever created by Disney and a key milestone in the transformation of EPCOT. We recently shared a look behind the scenes at the work that went into creating the incredible music for the show, featuring familiar Disney songs reinterpreted by a culturally diverse ensemble of musical artists from around the globe. Today, I’m excited to give you a glimpse of how the music of “Harmonious” is being brought to life in the park.
“Harmonious” is a unique experience that could only happen at EPCOT, a place dedicated to possibility, wonder and global community. I’ve had the opportunity to join my Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering colleagues for several late-night rehearsals as they put the finishing touches on the show, and “Harmonious” delivers a powerfully emotional experience. We can’t wait to share it with all of you, starting in just two weeks!
