Work on the walkway that will take guests to the entrance to the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction is beginning to take shape at Magic Kingdom. Before we jump into the construction photos, let’s take a look at the concept art previously released by Disney.
The first concept art that Disney released showed a staircase as the main entrance to the attraction.
Updated concept art shows that Disney is doing away with a staircase, and going with a long, winding walkway as the only way to access the attraction. A lower walkway appears to be in place to connect with Storybook Circus.

We can see the walkway taking shape in the following photos.
Concrete for the walkway has already been poured in an upper section.
Disney has not said when the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction will open, but it’s possible that an opening in the second half of 2022 or early 2023 is possible.
