As we reported nearly a year ago, Disney World is ending the Magical Express airport shuttle service at the end of 2021. With just days to go until the program is sunsetted, signage for the nearly dead Magical Express service are being replaced with generic “Airport Shuttle” signs. Here’s a look at the old sign, which remains in place at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

And here’s a look at the new, generic sign installed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you’re a guest staying on site the next few days and see this generic sign, don’t fret, the service will still run a few days into the new year as the last guests are transported to the airport. A Cast Member will be able to direct you should you have any questions.

The removal of the free airport transportation service has been questioned by many fans and seen as another cutback of what a Walt Disney World vacation used to represent.
