It looks like the next phase of work is kicking off for the massive, illuminated canopy for the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction at Magic Kingdom. The attraction, which doesn’t have an opening date, has been under construction since February 2018.
Now, it looks like crews are starting a new phase of the construction, loading material onto the canopy this afternoon. Keep in mind that the blue netting is only temporary – likely only to hold this material until it has been installed.
While it’s not immediately clear what the material is, it’s possible that it could be related to the translucent canopy that will cover the track.
