Disney Parks, Walt Disney World Issue Statements in Support of LGBTQIA+ Communities on Day of Planned Walkout

The Disney Parks and Walt Disney World social media channels have issued statements in support of LGBTQIA+ communities – including Cast Members and guests. Earlier this morning, the Disney Parks Instagram channel deleted a post after forgetting to include Imagineers, but they have issued a new statement as you can see below.

The statement comes on the same day that Disney employees have designated as a walkout day in opposition to Disney’s “apathetic” approach to Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill. It’s unclear if any theme park operations will be impacted by the planned walkout, but the Disney Parks were left out of the undersigned on WhereIsChapek.com.
