The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has removed the “Expected to open in 2023” verbiage from its website. Instead, the website simply says “Coming Soon”. Construction has been slow at the venue, which has included a nearly complete rebuild of the protruding structure seen below. The shop is mostly still down to the studs and a 2023 opening timeframe has seemed unlikely for quite some time now.
Neither The Cake Bake Shop nor Disney has said that the opening has been pushed back to 2024 at this time.
Here’s the description from the Walt Disney World website, which also lists a “coming soon” timeframe:
