After a wonderful opening day, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is experiencing a delayed opening on its second day of official operation at Magic Kingdom. The new water flume ride was experiencing issues throughout the preview period, and it looks like those issues may have extended into the general public operation as well.
While an initial wave of Boarding Groups was called this morning, no guests were able to ride according to Cast Members we spoke with. While visiting Magic Kingdom today, we saw that there were no logs running as of 11am.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure averaged more than 4 hours of downtime per day during the Annual Passholder preview period. The attraction experienced a few downtime periods yesterday, but they were relatively short compared to the ongoing downtime today.
Guests are advised to keep checking the My Disney Experience app for the latest attraction status. Keep in mind that Virtual Queue rules say that you can only hold one Boarding Group at a time, so if you don’t redeem your morning Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Boarding Group before 1pm, you will not be eligible to join the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queues at 1pm. Logically, you can’t be in two queues at one time, virtual or otherwise.
