CommuniCore Hall is now closed at EPCOT ahead of a “transformation” into an exhibit space for the upcoming Food & Wine Festival. That’s right, don’t worry CommuniCore Hall fans (that felt weird to type), CommuniCore Hall will reopen on August 29th. The article titled “CommuniCore Hall Now Closed, Imagineers Return to Drawing Board” will have to stay in drafts, because the space will be used as an exhibit space and show kitchen when the festival begins next week. We stopped by EPCOT today to find the location closed for the next week.

A peek through the windows revealed that the space is currently being transformed. CommuniCore Hall originally opened as a seating area, but it will be utilized during EPCOT festivals for various events and exhibits. While we still think that the final product is embarrassing, we’ll finally see Disney World’s fully realized vision for the space soon.
