All-New Magic Kingdom Fantasyland Christmas Decorations…At Night

|

Following all-new decorations for the Halloween and Fall season (Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train), Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom has rolled out all-new Christmas decorations for the 2025 holiday season. While I’m sure I’ll head back to Magic Kingdom soon for some daytime photos of the decor, Christmas decorations are really meant to be enjoyed at night. Therefore, we went out to Magic Kingdom last night to take a stroll around the park to enjoy the decor, and we’ll start with a look at the new Fantasyland Christmas decorations.

New Fantasyland Christmas Decorations

We arrived at Magic Kingdom last night just after sunset, as the Christmas lights were turning on for the first night of the 2025 Holiday Season. We made our way straight to Fantasyland to check out the new Christmas decorations installed in front of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

I have to say, while I thought that capturing the Christmas decor on the first night would be a magical way to start the season, there were more than a few spots that were unfinished or not lit at all. I’d imagine that will be addressed in the coming overnights as crews make final adjustments for the holiday season. That said, we will present what we saw last night, with full intentions of updating the photos when everything is firing on all cylinders later this holiday season.

Winnie the Pooh Christmas Decorations

We’ll start with the area surrounding The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This area has some fun honey and bee-themed decor, keeping right in line with Pooh’s love of honey.

Light poles throughout the area in front of the Winnie the Pooh attraction have been wrapped in garland with embedded lighting. They are also decorated with touches of honey and the bees that are so critical in producing Pooh’s favorite treat.

The attraction entrance sign has two light-up honeycombs, complete with bee-like Heffalumps! The decor piece on the left wasn’t lit properly last night, but I’m sure that will be fixed shortly.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Christmas Decorations

Across the walkway, the area in front of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has also been decorated for the 2025 Holiday Season! Again, we snapped some photos just after sunset as the lights were turning on for the first time ever.

Unfortunately, the decor pieces at the attraction’s main entrance and the Christmas Tree were not lit last night. Again, we’ll be back to grab some nighttime shots of the decor when the lights are fixed. For now, here’s a look at the area just after sunset.
