The miniature German village along the model railway in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion has its most detailed Food & Wine Festival makeover yet. Disney redecorates the scene for every festival, but this year, it’s the most detailed we’ve ever seen. This year’s edition adds new miniature Global Marketplace kiosks, a chef figure resembling Alfredo Linguini from Ratatouille, and other festival fun. We stopped by to take a detailed look.
The Germany Pavilion’s Miniature Village Food & Wine Festival Upgrade

New Mini Global Marketplace Kiosks
The miniature village sits along the model railway near the walkway past the Germany Pavilion. A small train loops past a cluster of European-style buildings and a town square. Several real Global Marketplace kiosks now have miniature counterparts standing in that square this year, right alongside the village’s usual buildings.
A tiny Japan kiosk features a curved blue tile roof and sliding red screens. Two miniature Cast Member figures stand behind the counter, one dressed as a chef. A France kiosk carries the same navy “Introduced in 1996” signage as its full-size counterpart in World Showcase, staffed by two figures wearing the striped shirts and red neckerchiefs used at that marketplace. Small Greece, Bramblewood Bites, and Hawai’i kiosks round out the lineup. Each matches the roofline, color scheme, and signage of its real-world counterpart, right down to miniature Cast Members standing at the windows.
New Figures and Fun Gags
A chef figure resembling Alfredo Linguini from Ratatouille is new to the village this year. He pushes a golden dessert cart topped with a tall pink cake, its candle reading “30” for the festival’s anniversary. The figure’s lanky build, red hair, and checkered pants match the character’s design.
Guest figures throughout the scene now carry festival food and drink items sized to match. Small trays hold plated dishes and drink cups, and soft-serve style desserts appear at the Hawai’i kiosk. Several figures gather at small standing tables with trays already set on top. One figure stands beside a purple, Remy-themed festival trash can with a food tray balanced on top of it. The gag mirrors something real guests do when seating runs short during the festival.
Signage throughout the village carries the same 30th anniversary branding found throughout EPCOT this year. Small “Cheers to 30 Years” signs match the real graphics installed around World Showcase. A miniature lamppost near the town square carries two Food & Wine Festival banners, matching the full-size versions installed around World Showcase for the festival’s 30th year.
