We made it out to Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently to check out a newly modified drink. In addition to the non-alcoholic version, there is now a version of the delicious Night Blossom that comes with rum.
Night Blossom with Rum – $10.25
The Night Blossom is one of, if not our favorite drink on property, so why not add some rum?
First off, it’s worth noting that the amount of Night Blossom is reduced via a smaller cup. That said, the pour of rum definitely ended up being north of 2oz.
The pour is dependant on the Cast Member making the drink though and a heavy hand is needed to justify the $10.25 price tag. Note the amount of clear rum floating at the top of the drink amongst the passion fruit boba balls.
As far as taste is concerned, we stirred the rum into the drink and found that it tasted mostly like the traditional Night Blossom. When sipped from the top of the drink, you’ll start to notice the Bacardi Silver Rum.
At $10.25, it’s maybe $1 more than I’d like to see for the amount of drink returned, but we still love the Night Blossom and love seeing Disney offer an alcoholic version.
