Construction Outside of Sanaa Removes View of Animals and Savanaa

If you’re planning on visiting Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas in the coming days or weeks, know that construction work on the building has removed the view of the animals during your meal. We visited recently to find construction walls up on the savanna, keeping all of the animals away from the windows. While the construction is ongoing, Disney needs to keep the animals at a safe distance from materials and equipment.

That said, you can still walk out to the observation deck and see all of the animals without an issue. Also…the bread service is still amazing! Here’s a look at the work.

From the elevated overlook, we can see that the animal boundaries are marked.

Cast Members we spoke with weren’t sure how long the construction would last, so if the animal view is an important aspect of your upcoming meal, we’d suggest calling Disney to inquire if the construction will still be ongoing for your visit.
