Today marks another milestone for Epcot, not because a new attraction or restaurant is opening, but because of how much more is closing. As we told you yesterday, a new, split rope drop is in effect at Epcot due to more construction walls being installed overnight.
We made it out to Epcot this morning to give you a look around!
Guests are greeted at the base of Spaceship Earth with two Cast Members holding directional signs to help you choose which way to go.
To the left, guests will find Mission: SPACE, the tempory MouseGear store, The Epcot Experience, and eventually World Showcase.
To the right, guests will find The Land, Soarin’ Around the World, Journey Into Imagination with Figment, the Seas with Nemo and Friends, and World Showcase.
Walking to the right, we find a dead end at the Project Tomorrow exit.
Guests are directed instead to the bypass that will take them towards The Seas.
The other rope drop takes guests to the left of Spaceship Earth and on a bypass that will drop them off at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction site.
Another dead end exists near the Project Tomorrow exit.
Guests continue past Guest Relations and to the hold point next to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
