Disney’s Hollywood Studios VP Phil Holmes to Retire in August

This August Disney’s Hollywood Studios Vice President Phil Holmes will retire. Holmes started his career with The Walt Disney Company in 1971 when he delivered blueprints to construction sites throughout the Magic Kingdom.

Holmes has had a variety of different roles within The Walt Disney Company, including roles as an Attraction Host, Bus Operations and Training, and most recently as Vice President of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, overseeing the successful launch of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Holmes will retire at the beginning of August.
