Magic Kingdom Area Resorts Lose Power, Guests Stranded on Monorails

Multiple Magic Kingdom area resorts lost power this evening at Walt Disney World. As a result, multiple monorails lost power as well, stranding guests who were on board at the time. As you can see in our photos below, some monorails required a tow to get back into a station to unload guests, while other monorails were able to resume motion under their own power.

As with any extended downtime on the monorail without air conditioning, guests were advised that they could remove the windows to prevent overheating.
