Following some daytime troubleshooting, the water screen on the centerpiece barge for Harmonious is working again at EPCOT.

Harmonious represents a challenge for Disney in the sense that all of the hardware for the show is in plain view. As we wrote earlier, the fact that it’s in plain view of guests and not hidden creates quite the eye sore on World Showcase Lagoon and would’ve posted a challenge for the Disney of old – fixing something in front of guests. With Illuminations, the hardware was backstage during the day, allowing crews to make repairs and provide maintenance as needed and “magically” – out of guest view.

With Harmonious, Disney has worked themselves into a corner when it comes to repairs, sometimes needing to make them during the day as we saw earlier today.
