Ahead of the end of the 50th Anniversary at the end of March, Disney World has continued to remove 50th Anniversary decor at Magic Kingdom. Earlier this year, we noticed that the 50th Anniversary topiaries and cake had been removed from the main entrance of Magic Kingdom, but now more decor has been removed from the world’s busiest theme park.
Two gold ’50’ decor pieces have been removed from the Hub in front of Cinderella Castle. The decor pieces used to sit in front of the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and the Crystal Palace Restaurant on either side of the Hub. Here’s a look at the removed piece from the Tomorrowland side of the Hub, which has some recovering grass that shows the outline of the decor piece.
Other decor such as the banners on Main Street USA and the Cinderella Castle additions remain in place.

It’s too bad that the 50th anniversary was a bit lackluster because of the comeback from the lockdown. Glad to see things becoming a little more what we are used to.
