Scaffolding has been removed from the exterior of the Star Tours building at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as a refurbishment wraps up. Scaffolding was installed up back in late July as crews worked on repairing a rundown mural that depicted the forest moon of Endor for the outdoor, extended queue.
On busy days, the queue will wind through an Ewok village and Disney painted the side of the Star Tours building to match the forested look of the Endorian moon that Ewoks call home. Here’s a look at the refreshed mural.
Toward the back of the queue, it looks like there is still some work that remains unfinished, but with no scaffolding, it’s unclear what the plan here is.
