Timelapse Video: The Many Colors of World Celebration Gardens After Dark at EPCOT

It’s a tale of two lighting conditions. During the day, World Celebration Gardens is, honestly, rather plain. Currently, the look resembles a nice office park. That should change next year when CommuniCore Hall and the CommuniCore Plaza party area construction is finished, but until then, the activation alcoves remain largely dormant.

However, once the sun sets, the Gardens come to life with light that synchronizes with Spaceship Earth to create a wonderful experience. From lights embedded in the ground around a central planter to light pillars that are more dynamic, we have been enjoying World Celebration Gardens after dark.

Recently, we stopped by EPCOT to take in the nighttime lighting effects of World Celebration Gardens, and filmed a timelapse of the central area as it progressed through various Spaceship Earth Points of Light shows and ambient lighting.

Check out our timelapse video embedded below (or watch it on YouTube).
