Disney Springs & Resort Area Water Taxi Service Suspended Due to Low Water Levels

The watercraft service that takes guests around the Disney Springs shopping center and area resorts has been suspended due to low water levels. Orlando is experiencing below-average rainfall totals year-to-date, and it looks like water levels in the Disney Springs lake and connected waterways are some 6-12″ below where they should be. Service was suspended recently, and is largely dependent on rainfall before it can resume.

In lieu of watercraft service, bus service is available and being utilized to transport guests where the Disney Springs area water taxi service would normally take them. Other watercraft service like the ferryboat to Magic Kingdom is unaffected at this time.
