UPDATE (8:45am): Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opened hours ahead of schedule at Hollywood Studios and is now open according to the My Disney Experience app. Our original article noting the plan for a delayed opening today and yesterday’s early closure remains below.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will have a delayed opening today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney says the attraction is operating from 11:00am to 9:00pm. That start time is two hours after the park’s usual 9:00am opening and misses Early Entry at 8:30am. The coaster also closed early yesterday at 6:00pm instead of staying open until park close. Here’s the latest.

- What guests can do to plan around it
The Sunset Boulevard headliner is starting its day later than usual. Disney’s hours for the ride today are 11:00am to 9:00pm. Combined with yesterday’s 6:00pm early closure, guests are seeing two schedule changes in as many days.
Early Entry and Park Opening
Early Entry lets Disney Resort hotel guests into the park ahead of regular opening, and the Muppets coaster is typically open for it at 8:30am. With today’s later start, those guests cannot ride until 11:00am. Guests entering at regular park opening will see the same 11:00am start.
Disney’s listing does not give a reason for the delay, but we assume it is related to yesterday’s early closure.
Planning Your Ride Around the Later Start
Disney lists the ride through 9:00pm, so if it opens as scheduled, guests still have the afternoon and evening to ride with The Electric Mayhem and their rockin’ set list.
Guests should check My Disney Experience for the latest hours and operating status.
