PHOTOS: Shark Reef Filled In and Miss Adventure Falls From The Air (July 2017)

Since Disney closed Shark Reef back in early October 2016, they’ve been slowly reclaiming space by filling in the lagoon guests would swim in.

It looks like there aren’t any grand plans for the area at the moment beyond expanded seating.

Here’s a look at the area from roughly a year ago. Guests would be able to swim with sharks, in addition to other sea life, on either side of the upturned hull.

Since we haven’t posted a photo yet, here’s a look at the newest ride at Typhoon Lagoon, Miss Adventure Falls.

Finally, here’s a look at Typhoon Lagoon as a whole.
