Test Track presented by General Motors will have a soft opening preview period tomorrow (July 20th) and Monday (July 21st) before its previously announced grand opening on July 22nd. The rethemed ride has held Cast Member previews and Annual Passholder previews over the past few weeks.
Test Track Soft Opening Announced
Test Track will be open to guests on July 20th and 21st ahead of its previously announced July 22nd grand opening. Guests will likely be able to join a standby queue during the soft opening period. A standby queue will also be in use when Test Track officially opens to guests on July 22nd.
The new version of Test Track retains the same layout as before, with new set dressing and a new storyline. Instead of building your own car and testing it, guests are taken through a technology showcase with the testing element removed from the ride.
The finale of the ride showcases travel of the future, including flying vehicles before riders speed outdoors for the familiar high-speed loop before the ride ends.
