The first support beam for the upcoming Disney Skyliner gondola system has been installed. Located near Pop Century, the support beam is about 40 to 50 feet high and just barely clears the trees in the area.
The Disney Skyliner gondola system will carry guests from Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to area resorts. The resorts that will be supported by the gondola system are:
- Disney Riviera Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
The Disney Skyliner gondola system is expected to be operational by mid-2019.
