While visiting Epcot today, we notice a new paint scheme has been applied to a section of the former Universe of Energy pavilion, and the future home of the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster at Epcot. Before we get into the latest work, let’s take a look at the concept art for the finished product.
Back to today, we can see that one of the raised theming elements has an initial coat of a reddish-brown paint.
A different angle shows not only the new paint scheme, but an additional color on top. You can see the difference in the second photo below.
