We’ve been fielding a lot of questions here at BlogMickey.com surrounding the theme park closures due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While we’ve tried to answer most of them, Disney just put out a video that talks a bit about one of the top questions we get here – how is Disney taking care of the animals during the theme park closures?

Dr. Mark Penning released a video and some updated information about how Disney is taking care of the animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the theme park closures.

Although Walt Disney World Resort is temporarily closed, Disney’s Animal Care team is continuing to provide top-notch care to the thousands of animals who roam our savanna and seas. Disney is diligently following state and federal guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our dedicated team and the animals.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest Disney Parks news and photos. We’ll continue to bring you news and photos, where possible, through the Disney Parks closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will resume our normal coverage once the parks reopen to guests on July 11th!
