Walt Disney World President Josh D’Amaro Joins Florida Task Force to Reopen Economy

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced a committee of business leaders and more to work through the logistics of reopening the economy. Representing Disney on the State of Florida Task Force is Walt Disney World President Josh D’Amaro.

With the additon of Josh D’Amaro, Disney has a presence on three reopening task forces with Bob Iger on the State of California Task Force and Thomas Mazloum is on the Orange County Florida Task Force. A reopening date for the California or Florida economies has not been announced.

Earlier today, we wrote that Disney doesn’t anticipate being closed more than 6 months.

As of publish time, the Disney parks and resorts remain closed indefinitely. Disney is accepting new reservations starting June 1st.
