Disney Will Discontinue Airline Travel Vacation Packages in 2021

Disney has just announced that they will discontinue offering packages that include airline travel in 2021. Here’s the official announcement:

For arrivals beginning in 2021, Walt Disney Travel Company will no longer offer air transportation as part of its packages for Guests traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa.

This includes both consumer-direct and third-party bookings.

We will continue to make new airline bookings for travel through the end of 2020, and our teams will continue to service existing airline bookings at this time.

    1. Thank you for your blog. I would like to receive email updates, especially pertaining to the new reservations system. Disney has not yet said how those with vacation packages are guaranteed into the parks. They said we would have to use the new reservation system but don’t have details yet.
