The EPCOT monorail line has had a less than stellar debut, experiencing unexpected downtime on multiple days since reopening. Today, unfortunately, is one of those days. The EPCOT monorail Cast Members just asked all guests to disembark the monorail and they’re currently preventing new guests from entering the line.
If you’re looking to get between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, buses have been deployed to assist during the downtime. Cast Members cited power issues at the Transportation and Ticket Center station as the root cause of the downtime and didn’t have an estimated time for reopening. The Magic Kingdom area monorail lines are unaffected by this downtime.
