Earlier this morning, Disney resumed the sales of Annual Passes at Walt Disney World. With the resumption of sales, Disney also updated the Disney Park Pass reservation system and some of the rules for their Annual Passes.
One of the more notable changes is the change in reservation limits. Here’s the breakdown of the new reservation limits by Annual Pass type (both new and grandfathered):
- Disney Incredi-Pass – Holds up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Sorcerer Pass – Hold up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Pirate Pass – Hold up to 4 reservations at a time
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass – Hold up to 3 reservations at a time
- Disney Platinum Plus Pass – Holds up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Platinum Pass – Hold up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Gold Pass – Hold up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Silver Pass – Hold up to 4 reservations at a time
- Disney Theme Park Select Pass – Hold up to 3 reservations at a time
- Disney Weekday Select Pass – Hold up to 3 reservations at a time
- Disney Epcot After 4 Pass – Hold up to 3 reservations at a time
In addition to the allotment above, Disney has introduced “Bonus Reservations”. These bonus reservations do not count against your allotted amount of reservations and are available for select parks on select dates. You can think of Bonus Reservations as a complimentary “thank you” from Disney to Annual Passholders. In reality, it’s likely that Disney simply wants to drive more traffic to a Bonus Reservation theme park on a specific day. More Bonus Reservations will be added on a rolling basis.
Disney has revealed the first wave of Bonus Reservations:
- September 11th – Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- September 14th – EPCOT
