Orange County Florida Back in Highest COVID-19 Tier

Following a brief stint in the “moderate” tier, Orange County Florida is back in the “high” tier for COVID-19 case transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The return to the highest possible tier comes as the Omicron variant takes hold in the county and The White House labels the county as a “rapid riser”.

At Walt Disney World, face masks are required in indoor areas, but not in outdoor spaces. Other safety measures that were enacted early in the pandemic, such as physical distancing and capacity limits, have been removed.
