This evening, an updated Advanced Dining Reservation UI upgrade has rolled out to the My Disney Experience app. With the update, guests will find an updated UI that provides clearer information about meal periods and more dining times in the search results. The My Disney Experience update follows an update to the Walt Disney World website that we previewed last week.

Here’s a first look at the updated Advance Dining Reservation UI on the My Disney Experience app!
- Like always, you can search for dining by clicking on the ‘+’ on the homepage
- Next, you select your party size (up to 20 people)
- Select the date that you’d like to search
- Select the time frame you’d like to search (All Day, Morning before 12pm, Afternoon from 12pm to 4pm, Evening after 4pm)

From there, the results screen will show you all dining times that match your date and time window criteria. You should see far more results than you used to see with the old UI and search system. There are so many results that a dining location might even display a “show more” button to display more times.

You can easily filter or modify your search from the results page.

Overall, the updates provide a more complete look at all available reservation times, and the information about meal periods is displayed in a way that is easier to understand. It’s possible that the updated search UI may not be live for your app as Disney World continues to roll out the feature. An app update is not required if you’re on the latest version (7.28) that was released a few days ago.
