According to the Disney World website, Blizzard Beach Water Park will be available during the 2023 holiday season. While Disney World hasn’t explicitly given a reopening date for Blizzard Beach, the holiday season begins November 11th and runs through December 31st.
The Disney World Holiday webpage says that guests will be able to splash into a watery winter wonderland brimming with cheer. Holiday highlights may include:
- Daily “Snowfall” – Watch in awe as snow flurries fall from the sky
- Santa Claus – Be on the lookout for jolly ole St. Nick—vacationing in his holiday-finest beachwear
Currently, Typhoon Lagoon is the only Disney World water park that is open, with Blizzard Beach undergoing some refurbishment. Since the March 2020 COVID-19 shutdowns, Disney World has not had both water parks open at the same time.
Blizzard Beach last operated from November 2022 until late March 2023 when it closed for the summer.
