Following our exclusive reporting earlier this month that Team Member previews would begin soon, friend of the site Bioreconstruct took to the skies over Universal Epic Universe to grab some photos of the previews. As you can see in the photos below, the previews are limited in scope to a single land, and limited to a small number of Team Members. As we reported, Universal will want to scale up the previews with not only a cap on which lands are available but also the number of Team Members partaking in the early limited previews.
Early Team Member Previews of Epic Universe
The early Team Member previews mark a significant milestone for the park, which is now turned over to operations. This means that any significant construction should be limited to “overnight” hours outside of the daytime preview window. While the preview that Bioreconstruct captured photos of is for SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, we’re told that other lands have already had preview days earlier this week. In fact, we believe that full park previews will begin as early as next week as Universal ramps up artificial demand on its operation teams to begin to stress test the park ahead of a grand opening on May 22nd.
There’s no word yet on when more widespread Team Member previews will begin. While Universal Orlando has said that existing Annual Passholders will have an opportunity to preview Epic Universe (editors note: very likely a paid preview), exact dates for those previews aren’t known at this time.
Here’s a look at the limited Team Member previews of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, which included attractions within the land. We’ll start at the entrance portal to the land, where a tent is set up – likely for the check-in process for the previews.
