An organizational change has been implemented at Walt Disney Imagineering that has led to some shuffling of existing executives within the company as well as new roles. Here’s a rundown of the changes.
At Walt Disney World, Zach Riddley is currently the Site Portfolio Executive for Walt Disney World. Under Riddley at Walt Disney World, Chris Beatty becomes the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. Joe Rohde will remain as the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Zach Riddley partners with Tom Fitzgerald as the Creatives for Epcot.
Kareem Daniel, who previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Global Business Operations at Walt Disney Imagineering, has been promoted to a new role of President, Walt Disney Imagineering Business Operations, Product Creation, Games, and Publishing. He continues to report to Bob Weis, who remains the President of Walt Disney Imagineering.
A new role has been created, called Walt Disney Imagineering Parks Design & Delivery that reports to Bob Weiss and Kareem Daniel. This new position is, as of publish time, vacant, but it will focus on the theme parks, cruise ships, and resorts.
At the Disneyland Resort, Jeanette Lomboy is the Walt Disney Imagineering Site Portfolio Executive, and Scott Trowbridge is the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. This is a new role for Trowbridge as he takes on a more overarching role over the resort theme parks from his position at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. He will continue to oversee the Star Wars projects at the theme parks.
For Tokyo Disneyland, Daniel Jue is the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for both theme parks. Luc Mayrand is the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for Hong Kong Disneyland. Nancy Seruto is the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for Shanghai Disneyland, and Tom Fitzgerald is the Walt Disney Imagineering Park Creative Executive for both theme parks in Paris.
