The Disney Parks have seen an insurgence of technology in their latest and greatest attractions. From Flight of Passage, which puts you in a link chair that not only mimics the flight you’d take on the back of a banshee, but also the breathing of such a creature, to the real-time rendering of graphics on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a lot of code and tech goes into a modern Disney attraction.

Technology + Storytelling = Magic

Today’s technological revolution is changing the game when it comes to experiential storytelling, and Disney is staying ahead of the curve by leveraging emerging tech to revolutionize the Guest Experience. In this SXSW conversation, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, will be joined by Disney Imagineers to give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at some of the incredible innovations Disney uses to bring stories to life at destinations around the world.

An exact date for the presentation hasn’t been announced, but SXSW runs from March 13-21, 2020.
