First Golden Accents, More Rose Pink for Cinderella Castle Repainting Project at Magic Kingdom

Another day with considerable visible progress for the Cinderella Castle repainting project at Magic Kingdom. As you likely know, Cinderella Castle is being painted “Rose Pink” in celebration of Cinderella’s 70th Anniversary. Also in the concept art below are golden accents on Cinderella Castle that will complete the ” Royal Makeover”. We made it out to Magic Kingdom today to take a look at the latest progress. First, here’s a reminder of the concept art for the finished look.

Here’s a before and current of Cinderella Castle. As you can see, the royal blue turrets really pop from Main Street USA.

Here’s a look at what we think is just the base coat of paint for what will likely end up being bright, shiny golden accents. There’s also more Rose Pink on the east side of Cinderella Castle.
