While visiting EPCOT this afternoon, we noticed that the brace that had been holding up the new prism pylons had been removed. While taking some photos of the pylons, we noticed that one of the pylons had sustained some minor damage during installation. As you can see in the photos below, one of the prism pylons has been scratched roughly where the brace was holding it in place.
When walking around the pylons, it looked like the scratch was superficial.
While only the single pylon had the noticeable scratch, they all had little imperfections where the brace held them in place.
Of course, we also took some photos of the pylons in place without the brace! Disney has stated that the pylons and water feature will debut later this year at EPCOT.
