The presence of a crane at EPCOT these days isn’t necessarily news given the construction zone that is Future World, but it is news when it arrives north of Spaceship Earth at the prism pylon feature fountain.

As you can see, theming pieces are staged near the fountain, and the crane is doing the heavy lifting as crews fit the pre-fabricated pieces into place.

The installation hasn’t reached the south side of the fountain just yet.

As a reminder, Disney has said that the fountain will be unveiled later this year, but has not given an exact date yet. This is just one piece of the larger EPCOT overhaul project that will give the Future World section of the park a facelift in the coming days.
